As long as live poker tournaments are concerned, residents of the UK and Ireland would be given the chance to prove their qualities as poker players in October, since a number of key poker tours will have their events hosted in the region this month.
The first event to take place in the region in October is the 2016 Grosvenor series’ seventh leg. The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is to take place in Luton in the period between October 2nd and October 5th, at the Grosvenor Casino. The Grosvenor Series are followed by the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Birmingham Series 10. The latter will kick off on October 5th at the Genting Club Star City in Birmingham and is to be brought to an end several days later, on October 9th.
On Tuesday, October 11th, the Grand Prix Poker Tour is to start. The tournament is to take place at the Dusk Till Dawn Casino venue in Nottingham and will end five days later, on October 16th. Apart from that, at the same time there will be another poker tournament in Westcliff-On-Sea – this year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series Mini, which is to kick off on October 12th and end on October 16th.
The fans of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series will be given the exclusive chance to enjoy a total of five events of the series in October. Four cities on the territory of the UK will host the events, with the first Grosvenor 25/25 Series scheduled in the period from October 13th to 16th. They are to take place the Grosvenor G Casino in Aberdeen. At the same time there will be another event of the series, located at the Grosvenor G Casino in Blackpool. The third event of the series is to take place in the brand’s casino venue in Seafront Brighton from October 20th to October 23rd. The last two Grosvenor 25/25 Series for this month will take place in two different cities at the same time. The Grosvenor Casino venues in Birmingham Hill Street and Bradford are to host the events from October 27th to 30th.
London is to host a number of exclusive poker tournament events this month. First, the October 2016 Super Stack UK poker tour is to start on October 13th at the Poker Room formerly The Vic. Then, Aspers Casino is to become home of the 888Live London Festival that is to kick off in the capital on October 13th, too. The last live poker tour that London is to host this month is the 2016 Winter Classic from October 21st to 23rd.
Residents of Nottingham will have from October 24th to November 6th to enjoy the partypoker World Poker Tour (WPT) UK Festival at the Dusk Till Dawn venue. Several days later, on October 27th the Grosvenor Casino in Plymouth will host the Fright Fest that is to be through on October 30th.
And at the very end of the month, poker players in Ireland will be able to enjoy two tournaments, both of which are to take place at the Regency Airport Hotel in Dublin. The first one is this year’s Grosvenor International Poker Open that is scheduled for the period from October 27th to October 31st. The other tournament poker lovers could enjoy is the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) Irish Amateur Poker Championship that will be held on October 30th and 31th.
